Is technology about to disrupt the housing market?

There is a reason, one that is hardly ever discussed, why house prices may be one of the victims of technology disruption.

“Buy land; they don’t make it anymore, “ said Mark Twain.  That saying remains broadly true, although you could argue that vertical farms and high rise buildings are examples of new land. But certain technologies could drastically transform the efficiency of how we use land, radically changing the world.
